Awww! You better ask for forgiveness before you burn in hell little girl!!! You truly believe God is unfair because you don't have riches? LOL So your saying you would trade your HEALTH and LOVE for money? You seem to forget as does everyone, We WERE all created equal with the same amount of EVERYTHING, and man and woman has been screwing it up since we were given the oppurtunity. So what you do is, go find some big time rich person and do WHATEVER it is he wants so that you can be RICH. Compromise who you are for the "material" things you so long to posess, but please don't get back on here crying about how unfair God is again because you aren't rich or because you are but have bad health or no love.!!!

We are told in the bible that our rewards are those that we don't realize. I know that at times monetary possessions seem important... however I can guarantee that there are things in your life, blessings that you have that your friend may not have. I DO know that God loves each of us the same... just because we have trials in our lives does not mean that he loves us less. Let me provide you with an example.
When gold is made it goes through a very strenuous process. We all know that gold as extreme value and worth. However, when it is made it goes into a fire and under extreme temperatures goes through much molding and bending and refining. IT MUST GO THROUGH THIS PROCESS or else it would not turn out right. Once the process is complete then it is beautiful, wonderful and has the fullest value.
We as God's children are like this, we go through the "refiner's fire" through our trials and hardships. At times it is so easy to blame God, and say that he does not love us. But we have to go through hard times because it refines us, it perfects us. Christ himself when he was on the Earth suffered much, many hated and persecuted him, he was crucified, he was tempted and had to suffer. He understands. We cannot appreciate the good without the bad. We would take things for granted. Does your friend fully appreciate what she has? I can gurantee because you have suffered through some things, if you were to get that stuff you would appreciate it so much more. Sometimes we are blessed in other areas that we don't realize or recognize right away... Count your blessings, name them one by one and you will be suprised at what the Lord has done for you!

I can only give you my personal answer in the hope that it will help you: I am here as a human in this world, but I am also a part of the whole of the universe. The "little me" -- the guy writing you at this moment -- has infinite trials and tribulations, as all the other "little us's" have. I don't know WHY God does some of the stuff he does to me, but I know that he knows what he is doing and that I can either complain about it or adapt and grow. My motto is "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
Now, that having been said, be aware of your "Big You". That is the part of you that you can call spirit, essense, whatever new age word fits your thinking. For me, I believe it is that fine thread of energy -- the Holy Spirit to Christians, the Chi to Buddhists, the Force to Jedis -- that connects me with both God AND the rest of the universe. I think that THAT is the place where God's love for us rests.
I hope this helps you.

My mother says, "God helps those that help themselves" What are you doing to get that more prosperous life? I do believe God has a path for us all, and that is my rock and my strength when things go for the worst. But though I might wait to hear that small voice for the next step, I often find the advice "Fake it till you make it" works in the interim.
Also I don't think we should compare ourselves to others unless we are using them for our models of how to get to where we want to be. Because just wanting what they have without the hard work that comes is a sin against yourself.
Also what people often presume is coasting by takes more effort than it looks.

I don't usually go here, but I'll give it a shot.
I understand it that if you are struggling, Satan is having his shot. How you choose to deal with your struggle is up to you. God is there through all things and all times. You are the only one who can stop the struggling. Take it in stride, not personal. When you throw your troubles unto the Lord, leave them. Do not take them back with worry.
I could so be wrong, so this is only an opinion. You should see a Pastor or other Church member for help, good luck.

From what I've learned, God doesn't value the same things as most of us. For example, he doesn't allow people to acquire more money and possesions because he loves them more. The Lord tells us that only true joy and happiness can come from receiving his love. When you experience the true love of God, not even a million dollars compares. Accepting Jesus as your savior and letting the Lord be the one in charge of your life promises you ETERNAL life in heaven.........our time here on Earth is short, and nothing compared to what God is preparing for us in heaven. When you look at the big picture, as God does, it doesn't matter how much material possesions you have on Earth, because to those who love and believe in the lord will one day have more that you can ever imagine, being able to stand face to face to God and live with him forever. God bless, and don't ever stop believing.

Believe it or not, there are actually general pricipals to prospering. And they are mentioned in the Bible. People that dont know God can prosper becuase even though they might not of read on work of the Bible, they still follow the general principals that will cause them to be succesful.
One that I can remember off the top of my head although I dont remember the scripture is
Too much rest will lead to poverty
He that saves his life will lose it, and he that loses his life shall find it
Although Jesus was refering to himself in that scripture it still applies to being succesful.
And there are some others, but I can remember them right now.

well why don't you pray about it, one of the ten commandments says that you shouldn't covet what other people have, and yes some people do get lucky and not have it as hard as others, but most of the time they always end up having harder struggles than the not so lucky people, like they may have more personal problems in their life, and yes i know that it is an sickening feeling to not have as much as some people, but god may be trying to tell you something. just pray and be happy that you have anything at all!!!

well, if you belive in God, the anwer is simple. the greatest reward is not what you have here on earth, but what you will receive in heaven. you're seeing only material things. that is not really happiness. what if, (and this is just an example and in no way do i hope this on your family,) your relative dies? all they have will be lost. will they take their apartment and luxuries with them? in the end were all the same. just live your life, and be happy with what you have. i'd like you to ponder on this. do you think it be fair if a doctor and a janitor made the same amount of money? im not degrading them, but if one goes to school, and the other doesn't, would it be fair if they both made the same amount of money? God gave us free will, it's up to you to make what you want with it.
we all want to have the best money can buy, but you think it's fair to blame it on God?

Life was never meant to be fair. Some people are given more challenges than others. While I was given incredibly good looks :) ...I have to deal with cancer and arthritis. I DO NOT blame GOD. I realize that it is my task to overcome (or live) with these limitations and still try to become a better person. It does, however, make me a bit less judgmental about other people's weaknesses.
