Somewhere in China, but they'll be replicas and won't work very well. And no warranty, of course.

Two things. Don't buy that camera unless you are a professional and your other high end equipment just isn't cutting it for specialized shots where you need the extra resolution. Anyone else is just flushing thousands of dollars down the toilet. But, if you DO in fact need the camera, for God's sake order it from a reputable source and get the extended warrenty. At this price range you won't find much of a discount on the item (it's like $7000 + a few thousand for lenses....say an even $10 grand) and it is so expensive you want the investment protected.
If this isn't you, then what you want is the Canon EOS 5D as a top of the line digital SLR. Hell, most people really want the Sony DSC-R1 when they are looking for a top of the line camera, for various reasons.
Just because you can afford something, doesn't mean you should.

its about the same anywhere. even to the other side of the planet. the shipping cost would compensate for the 'cheaper' value even if you get in countries like singapore, taiwan, china or hong kong. juz get in ebay.

From Terry down my local pub. Say Jim sent you. Don't ask any questions about where the goods come from - and you won't hear any lies.
Say no more!
