My boyfriend came to myhouse with a mark going down his neck it looks like a bruise. But don't some hickies look like bruises. He is latino so he has dark skin. I think it is a hickey. He says some one hit him. What do you think?

I dont know why he would even have the balls to show up at your house with a hickey... does he lie frequently or is he a trustworthy guy.. if you dont normally trust the stuff that he says then its probably a hickey... but you never know.. someone may have hit him... I have never seen a bruised neck though

Yea, I think its a hickey... Unfortuneatly because the skin pretty much bruises from a hickey, its hard to tell. If when its healing its more yellowish in color, then its for sure a bruise, if not.. Its a hickey!

hey, it could happen...I fell once and the back of my neck hit the side of a table, but it wasn't a "solid hit." The edge of the table kind of skid down my neck (and my entire back). It looked like a hickey except for the shape....check out your bf's hickey and see if the "shape" of it looks like it could have been made by someone's mouth. If it is a wierd shape, or really big, then it is possible he is telling the truth.

Lol, thats better then the excuse my (soon-to-be-ex) gave me when he showed up one night with a hickey on his neck...His just miracuously appeared after a night of drinking...lol...I think he mightve said that it was razor burn...Don't believe that for one minute, a hickey is a hickey...and despite how much you want to believe him, don't degrade yourself by allowing him to make you out to be a fool with his ridiculous lies...you deserve better then that and I hope that you realize it before he comes home with something worse...like an STD...good luck and get rid of the idiot...

Next hes gonna tell you the dog did it while he was sleeping! He had some chick sucking on his neck, end of story. Necks dont bruise easily, he would have gotten hurt pretty bad for it to bruise!

looking at your other question I would look into the "bruise" a little more cause that would sound suspicious to me but if you trust him take his answer and run with it I cant see it so I cant tell you but like I said reading the other question I would be a little cautious but do not stress have a healthy baby first then worry about everything else

i think that you should confront him about his supposed bruise...communication is the basis of all relationships, if you still don't believe him or think he is lying, get rid of him...you deserve someone who will be honest with you and treat you like a queen. If there is any doubt in you mind, do something about it...like my mother has always told me watch for little red flags!

I think he's full of sh*t. If you dont take this as a sign you will waste more time until the next sign comes up, and it will. Its easier right now to believe his bs story but it will be harder for you down the line if you do and continue to stay with him.
