What's the body count in the bible? How many people died in all God's plagues, floods etc.?

Were all Noah's mates really so wicked they had to drown? What sin did the women of Sodom commit? Were the cities of Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboim destroyed by 'friendly fire'?
What role did the first-born children of the Egyptians play in the enslavement of the Israelites? What sort of insane idiot murders children for the sins of their parents? (Apart from both sides in The War Against Terror)

Considering the oft repeated chatter about god's tender love and mercy, I decided to do a "bible body count". These are people done in by the Israelites OR Israelites that God allowed to be done in by somebody else because thay had done something or other to piss him (God) off. The DIRECT count is 1,699,212.

This listing includes ONLY those instances where actual numbers were given. There are probably another thousand or so that were offed in ones, twos and threes... I didn't bother to include them. (Exception: The 250,000 number given for Numbers Ch. 31 is based upon the number of mature female virgins and female children (32,000) that were given over to the Israelite soldiers and population for their "own use"... whatever THAT was. This was after having killed all the men, and then EXECUTING all the boy children and non-virginal females. This was done upon the direct orders of Moses, who was furious that they had been captured, and not killed on the spot, as god had commanded. This whole affair, by the way, was ordered by the kind and benovelent Lord.

The Israelites also took hundreds of thousands as slaves (mostly women and girl children... they usually killed the boys). They bragged a lot about leaving not a soul alive and about all the loot they brought home... often with the DIRECT help and/or guidance of God. And, speaking of loot... David was fond of bringing home the foreskins of his slain enemies as trophies. I wonder... did he make anything out of them, or just put them on display? (I wonder how this relates to the joke about the wallet that turns into a 2-suiter, if you rub it.)

Something that I was unable to account for were those that were done in when entire populations of cities were put to the sword... men, women, children. In some cases only the men and boys were murdered and the women and girl children taken. In one instance it was said that they left no one who "pisseth against a wall".

In any event, ther were dozens of cities destroyed and populations completely or mostly wiped out, without a body count being given. A CONSERVATIVE estimate, though, based on the population of other cities, leads me to conclude that the actual body count is EASILY 3 times the number shown, and probably a lot higher.... 5 MILLION, minimum. (That's a lot of foreskins.)

One particularly nasty episode is cronicled in Numbers Ch, 25 and 31. A careful reading of this suggests that somebody doctored Chapter 25 after the fact... but did a poor job, and left clues to their handiwork. In any event, I believe the "plague" that took 26,000 was actually 26,000 beheadings of Israelite youths, ordered of Moses by God. But, that's just my opinion, and I have nothing to base it on other than an analytical reading of the verses.

you comprehend The exciting aspect about those those who declare God Is Evil Are an same those who do not believe In Christianity. I just looked at DuckPhup's answer. I think 1,699,212...I just looked. That's it. That + the cities that were destroyed-no specific body count was taken-and however many were alive during Noah's Ark days.
Can you feel the love from this omniscient, perfect being who never regrets his actions or makes mistakes?

Considering the plagues, the flood, etc, I'd say the death tool was in the tens of millions though depending on the size of the cities (I'm no historian) it could have been in the hundreds of millions.
