Have you tried Frizz Serum by Vive? When you blow dry your hair use a straightening iron then put the frizz serum on your hair and comb it through. It works really well on my hair.

Invest in a ceramic hair straightener. My daughter bought one and she's very pleased with it. Use a product in your hair before you straighten that will help hold your hair against humidity. Like Herbal Essences "None of Your Frizziness" smoothing shampoo and conditioner.

Hair straighteners will make the cuticles lie flatter. Remember to use good styling products and then you should be able to tie it up sleekly.

1st of all you should be able to manage your hair and then style it. use INFUSIUM, i think it makes wonders on big flufy, tangled hair, once you got that straight, then look a hair style that you like and fits you and if you got a pic, take it to your hair dresser and she/ would help for sure.
