i uased abother account to asked a question and i said i wanted nothing relating to the bible. lone behold i get bible $hit! they all need to learn some maners! do you really think jesus would have continued talking to some one afer they asked not to be botherd? hell no! they sealed their fate with their own free will. so do as the lord and savious would do and leave thoes of us along who do not want your advice or your constant trying to convert us.

Friend, people who go about preaching about the Kingdom of God are humans too ,but with values,discipline,love and compassion for others. They understood the meaning of life and the purpose of living. You are always free to choose your destination and no one could ever force true adoration towards God. If people insist on citing bible verses, its coz they feel that you need them!

First of all... I really do take offense to this. Since many of Christians aren't *****, thanks. And how do you know this person was a christian? There are a number of religions where people call themselves christians. Christian is really just describing a person who believes in Christ and their church calls them by that. Honestly, you ask questions and if people want to give you an answer with bible stuff in it, then don't read it. Just don't make such a big fuss over Christians. Really, it is bad taste and you need to get over it.

Because they think they have the absolute truth, so no one an argue with them. If you do they will get mad. Christians want you to read the bible, but they won't read some of the books i have suggested to them.
Such as: 'The End of Faith' (c.2006) and 'Why I'm not a Christian', by Bertrand Russell (1916) the Russell book may be hard to find.

The problem is that religions that derive from the Moses myth are all Evangelical religions. This means that they are commanded to try and "convince you of the truth" as they see it.
Just ignore them. The ones that persist usually don't have a sense of humor, so you can use that too.
CD's - "Are you born again?"
Me - "I wanted to be, but my mother refused."
CD's - "That is not what I mean. Do you accept Jesus Christ as your own personal savior?"
Me - "Since Jesus Christ is a title, not a name, and it loosely translates into 'The Lord my Savior,' then ANYONE who is my savior is by definition, Jesus Christ!"
CD's - (Go away in disgust, the they do GO AWAY!!)

Yes, yes. Christians suck. Atheists suck. We all suck. I've come to terms with it.
Yes, quite often you will get responses that basically equal "Praise Jesus!". But an equal amount of the time you get "God doesn't exist! Get over it!" As long as there is a Yahoo! Answers, there will be responses like this. Just learn to skip over these.
