because Christianity is how they justify their evil actions.
They believe as long as they believe in Jesus then they are forgiven.

People generally learn religion right along with learning how to speak. It is not something that most people think about intellectually. I would put you in that same category, since you are assigning a value to a religion when in reality it is the people themselves that choose to do good or evil. Christianity may be a lot of things, including, but not limited to a man made device, a political entity, or a scam. It cannot, however be evil in and of itself. It is only an idea, and it is the people who use that idea for bad things that are the evil ones, and no other.

I am not ashamed of being who I am I am a Caucasian male who is a Christian. I don't believe the two are in any way connected other than that is how God made me. And I fall into line with Paul when he told the Romans:
Rom1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

It's not "evil" just because it teaches things that you don't want to hear -- things that prick your conscience regarding your beliefs and lifestyle.
