Please dont say that your main reason is that the FSM is "made up". He was written about in the past so he MUST be real.

No, it's a parody Id'be afraid of becoming a lunatic if I got into that it would be just like getting into other popular christian lies that aren't even biblical, how ironic. If i did take that religion i'd start a new denomiation/division to add and take away ideas, but keep the spaghetti guy.

I think that Pastafarianism is a better religion than Scientology. You can get a pasta wig that looks like dreadlocks, and you will look cool and laid back.
Scientology doesn't have anything to compete with that!
