Tried to get advise on this from friends and people on the net and most girls/ women deny they actually do it? I do it and have no problems admitting it but why do others?

I do this also about 5-10 times a week. I see no problem with it; however, I do know what you mean about be able to express this to others. I think some are just very closed minded.

Facing facts.... everyone does it!! I do it, you do it, your next door neighbour does it, even highly religous people do it!!!!
Male masturbation is more common... because guys can openly admit to it and joke about it..... but the Females however dont find it 'lady like' to admit it.
Some do.... dont get me wrong, but the girls (even guys) wont admit to it because they feel ashamed about it... or feel awkwards talking about this kind of subject openly... to name an example!!!
Its all about the history of the female... which I wont go into. However, we are living in a world where sex is a highly open subject... so there is no reason to be ashamed of it as it is perfectly natural thing to do.
Women have many stores today like Ann Summers.... which have many thing for the female (even for the guys).
What are vibrators for and other similar toys??? It is all part of female sexual pleasure... with or without a partner!! A simple scenario which prooves that women do masturbate.... and should have no shame to admit they do.
Some do it more than others admittidly... but most of us do masturbate... even if you dont want to admit it.
May not be a good answer... but hey, I suppose I speak some truth here...
Lastly, if your after advice.... check the internet. I am sure there are sites which cover in detail over female masturbation.... and for extra knowledge, may also contain male masturbation also.

You can put the blame firmly on your great grandmother, before the Victorian era there were no problems with this, but with the advent of Mrs. Bloomer this became a problem.
It was considered disgusting for men and women, even in the 1940s we would be caned for doing anything like that.
but instead of it putting the boys off, it increased their curiosity. with girls they seemed to become introvert and deny even trying.
despite what the old say, it is good for you and helps your heart rate and has been compared to a five mile hike.

I would imagine that women deny it because of the glaring inequality that us men enjoy ...
Its the same thing as 'man sleeps around = hero' ....'lady sleeps around = ****'
If you admit to masturbating, you admit to liking sex and not being able to wait until a 2 person event .. that means obviously you are gagging for it and desperate = **** ..
Its just more rubbish propogated by the mentally challenged cavemen that wander the world .. for the rest of us .. I say .. if you do it .. be proud of it and have fun :)

I know some that deny it, but I know more that have no problem admitting it. Sh*it, all these uptight prudes have to realize is that it is a major turn on for a guy to know a woman pleasures herself. Because girls are brought up thinking that this is a bad dirty thing and they won't admit it, and alot of girls won't even do it cause they feel bad doing it. I am married and have great sex and I still do cause he isn't always around when the mood strikes. Women have to take care of themselves!!

Deny it? Maybe it's were you live. All of the girls over here is Hollywood Calif. will blab a way at telling you how they can get the job done. We even have sex toys party's, so we can add to our collection. lol

Some people are not open to discussing it. But, me, Heck ya I do! Why not? It is perfectly normal. Shot, I show my close friends all the neat toy's my husband and I have! Masturbation is funner with toys.

Your right, most women do, do it but wont admit they do.aI think its because their afraid of how other women will look at them.I think its sad that they dont admit it,after all its something that makes you feel good and your not hurting anyone and its the safest sex anyone can have.
