You have said you are over him, but have you truly forgiven her for what she did to you. It sounds like your feelings are all directed at her.

As has been said forgiveness is sometimes a daily thing we have to do.

It also sounds like you are not too sure of yourself. If it makes you feel like dirt because they are going out.... WHY?

If no one has ever liked you like he used to .... count your blessings...Didn't you say he dumped you?

It may have felt like he was the only one that understood you, sweetie, but maybe he did not understand you, but know how to play you.... emotionally. That may be part of what he is doing now. Keep that in mind if he comes back to you and tells you what a mistake he made. Don't be surprised if this happens. Guys like this know how to manipulate your emotions and play on your weak points.

If u were sincere when u asked for forgivness then u recieved it.

If he realy understood u he wouldnt have let anyone come between u 2 in the first place. But now the healing has to start. I have a feeling u cant get over this because u still have feelings for him. The envy comes from the fact that she has ur mr wonderful and u dont.

Give it time and remember the best way to get back at an old bf when he dumps u is ....move on and let them see how happy u r now! Because they are probably miserable right about now. And she will never have a stable relationship with him because if he'll dump u that easy , it will be even easyer for him to dump her.

You need to move on and make yourself happy. You need to believe that only you can make you happy. That guy was obviously not for you. Believe me, there is someone out there for you that in the future, you will say, I can't believe I actually wasted my brain power over that situation. Just remember, if your boyfriend dumped you for her, then someday, that girl will get dumped for another and she will be just like you are right now...envious. That old boyfriend is very persuasive and all he will do is fall in love with a girl and then dump her for another so that he feels good about himself and doesn't care about all the hearts he broke.
Don't be envious of something that wasn't meant to be. Put your envy in God's hands and try to look at things in a different light or from a different view.
You'll be okay.(hug)

I would think about all the reasons why you guys broke up plus everything else that bothered you about him ( hygene issues, bad table manners, poor listnening skill, what not...) and picture that girl living with them day in and out!! Surely she is not as patient and understanding as you are so she is probably quite frustarted with him, even if she doesnt show it. If you think of it this way, maybe you will start feeling compassion or pity for her, or at least be amused at the situation instead of feeling envy. Try it, got nothing to lose and might get a laugh or two...

As a Christian we are taught to be more like Christ. To do that we must let go of who we are and all of the things that are troubling your flesh will begin to go also. Take on the personality of jesus, who taking the form of man, owned nothing and gave himself totally to serving the will of the father. His good works changes the world; your good works will not only change the world of others, but positively change your life. You will find envy to be a very small thing to overcome.

What you described shows that you have not really forgiven the girl who stole your guy.

Forgiveness does not mean that you are ok with what the other girl did. It means that you are not going to hold it against her. It sounds like you have not done this.

The envy will keep eating at your sould until you have forgiven the other girl. I suggest that you do this right away.

You can contact me if you wish to discuss this further.

Honestly, the first thing you should do is not ask to be forgiven for envy... you should just forgive and allow yourself to feel an honest human emotion without tying unnecessary guilt to it. You can allow yourself to be unapologetic about the way you feel. If we think we can 'control' our emotions, they will control us. Feel what you feel, accept it for what it is (nostalgia and longing for someone you once cared for) and then move past it. Good luck... live well.

I know how hard that is, but the one true thing you can do is give it to the Lord. Basically, you say "Lord I can't get over this, but I'm giving it to you. I know that I am not suppose to feel this way, but with your help I will get over it." Then you expect Him to help you. You have to also take all thoughts captive after that. When the enemy reminds you of her, you tell the enemy, "yes, but I've given her to the Lord and He is going to deal with her."

Think of your envy like a hot coal you want to throw at this girl. But before you throw it, it is burning your hand. Then maybe you can let it go.
