I don't normally use it, but I can't put a bikini on without the fake tan, can I.

Bathe and exfoliate very well first. Also, don't use a whole lot on places like elbows, knees, heels, etc - anywhere there's cracks in your skin or folds because more color will become trapped there. Don't fake tan your face - just use bronzer.

My best advice would be to use the subtle tanning lotions. I know Dove makes one that I use, but other brands make them as well.
These lotions will subtly tan your skin every time you use it, so over the course of a week or so your skin will have a nice tan and glow.
I advise this because you run no risk of streaks or blotches because if you miss a spot, its ok since it gradually builds throughout the week. And also you get really soft and mouisturized since you're using the lotion everyday (use it after you shower).
If you use this or any other self tanner, just make sure to get your feet because i tend to forget that and you can tell where it stops at the ankles.
Also consider after you wash your hands to put the tinest bit on the backs of your hands and rub the backs of your hands together (not palms) because if you wash your hands after you apply any kind of tanner then sometimes your whole hand is white while your arm is nice and tan.
Good luck!

exfoliate 1st, apply plenty of moisturiser and let it sink in for a minute or two. Apply vaseline to dry areas such as ankle bones, knees etc. Rub in fake tan well, applying a tiny bit 1st and adding more when you need it, rather than using a lot all at once. Ensure that it doesnt settle between your toes and wash hands with soap immediately to prevent staining.
Have a great holiday!

Ya purchase a tanning mitt for smoother software. it really is fairly fairly significant to moisturise prevalent at the same time as you've the tan on. Get someone to do the 'perplexing to achieve' factors for you. sturdy success:)

have a shower, shave, loads of moisturiser let it dry in, put a pair of latex gloves on and apply the fake tan in a circular motion, this will prevent streaking.. let it dry completley b4 getting dressed

exfoliate first, so the tan goes on evenly. be careful around knobbly bits like knees and ankle bones as too much on these areas can make it look orange.

why not try a spray tan these can be done professionally and there's less chance of you being streaky or as orange as Judith Chalmers

Fake tan looks like crap. Just go do some yardwork or something.
