It isn't a matter of right or wrong, it is a matter of is it the right relationship for the two of you. Long distance relationships are very difficult and require a lot of patience and a lot of trust. Ultimately a long term, long distance relationship will never survive simply because the main basis for a relationship is that it is personal and close which is near impossible in something long distance.

Don't look at it as if it is right or wrong. Look at is as if you think that this person is someone that you can trust being away from you and still be in a relationship. The hardest part about being away from someone is not if it is worth it but if you can trust them. If you and him want it bad enough it is worth it and it can work out for the better but understand that if either has any trust issues you both will do nothing but suffer. Good luck.

There's nothing wrong with it but it is difficult. When I was in college I dated someone who was from NH and I'm from the south. We dated for 2 and a half years so every summer we were apart. Communication is the key to keeping long distance relationships alive.

Age and maturity have EVERYTHING to do with it. I was just talking to a person from Toronto last week and was told '" If my soulmate was across the world, I would find a way to be with her." That's great attitude, but...unless you have Trumps $ for phone calls and visits, it will be hard! Download either MSN or Yahoo messenger and get microphones to hook up so you can talk to each other every day. I paid $5 for a mic and the messenger is free!

Long distance relationship is never wrong, However if you are wanting a long distance relationship so that way no one will know about him or you can easily cheat then that is wrong. But good luck with that, it will be hard but if you love him then go for it dear.

Sure, theres nothing wrong with that. Long distance relationships can be trying at times, and a bit difficult. But they can work if you want them to. Is there any particular reason why you want this?

from experience i know that there's nothing wrong with it but its just really hard. wouldn't you rather have a b/f that you can actually see and hug and stuff??? long distance relationships are hard because you have be able to trust that person. you dont know what he's doing when he isnt talking to you. get what im sayin? he could easily be cheating on you and you wouldnt even know it. sooooo if you want a long distance relationship, go for it! just be careful.

Usally you have a relationship first and one of you either moves away or goes to school. I wouldn't start a relationship long distance. I don't see how it could amount to anything.

If it's true love, I don't see the reason why not.
But the two of you must be willing to work on it, because it's difficult to maintain. One might end up frustrated in the process.
