yes your card will work.. if the menu screen is not light blue.. you will have to phone sky technical team.. to get them to upgrade your box.....

to reset the box... turn it on at plug, holding back-up and the power button.............g'luck

Today is your lucky day!
You need to call sky and tell them that you have bought a new sky box and require your card registered to your new box.
I however would try the following.

Call Sky and say that I wish to cancel my contract due to the fact that my box is not working and I do not wish to buy a new box. They might say OK but more often than not they will replace your box or fix it for free.

If they say OK we will disconnect you create a new account with slight different details and you can get a new box for free.

There's more.

If you move house you can call them and they will pay for your install to your new house.

Just remember SKY want your custom and don't like to lose people.

I hope that this helps

Sky boxes are linked to the cards. A Sky fitter may help.

As far as I know, your old card will work in the new box. It is only if you change address that you need to contact Sky. I got one off ebay and my previous sky card worked in it.
