God hast created me in His image.

I take comfort in that. In fact, just this morning as I glanced in the mirror, it struck me that God must be one handsome sumnabitch.

I have this theory; because nobody according to the Bible, has ever seen the face of God. However; since we are created in the image of God spiritually; maybe perhaps when we look upon Him, we actually see ourselves.

No one has seen the face of God. You won't be able to until you get to heaven, that is if you are born-again and a Christian. Moses was pretty close to seeing God's face. He made that request. You can read about in Exodus 33:12-23.
Adam was created in the image of God meaning he was looking for a sinless people. And we could talk to God face-to-face, but once Adam and Eve sinned all communications was broken. By because God sent His Son Jesus to die for us, we are free to communicate freely with Him. Jesus is the bridge. He closed the gap and we don't have to sacrifice animals when we sin. We can ask for God's forgivness.

In Genesis, Moses writes that God created man in His image and likeness- I figure that means that God has a head, 2 eyes, a nose, 2 ears, a mouth, a neck, 2 arms, 2 legs, 10 each of fingers and toes, etc.

I don't know exactly what God looks like, but in the New Testament Jesus is quoted saying that, "If ye have seen me, ye have seen my Father...." sounds like another case of "like Father, like Son."

I'm guessing that we'll recognize God when we die... He'll be the one on the big shiny throne!

I used to have a picture or Christ hanging on my mirror, towards the top where I could see it as soon as I walked in. Then when I would look in the mirror, it would remind me that I'm beautiful, no matter what others say. I'm a daughter of a loving Father in Heaven who sent His Son to suffer and die for me. It makes me very grateful to think that He did this for me. We are all beautiful in the sight of God, and I try to remember that we are all God's children, and he loves us no matter what we do.

No one can see the face of God and live. You are just seeing an image.

As Mosheh? .. Up the mountain in communion with a radiance of the Elohim .. called "Hanael" .. face of God? ..
Well not eggzactly ...
But when I look in the mirror .. the James Brown song "I feel Good!" pops into my mind ...It's enough to make me shinny!

I like Big Daddy's answer. Not that I actually see the "real" face of God, but everytime I look at my children, I can see His work.

Nobody has ever seen God and nobody ever will see Him. Anybodies encounter is fake or hallucination. God is simply mystery.

People are born in this world and die
Whatever happens after death, they lie
One who dies, resurrects and recalls,
I shall trust that person and sure rely

nobody has ever seen God's face. If they saw something Godly, how did they know that it was God's? Anyway, he is brighter than the sun and that fact can't let us see HIm.
