Care for Oily Hair

* Do not use oils unless your hair gets extremely dry.
* Wash your hair with shampoo once in three days.
* Your attention should be on the head while massaging the shampoo.
* Divide your hair in two parts, put a little multani mitti powder through each section. Rub it well and keep it for ten minutes. Brush out your hair. Multani mitti absorbs most of grease and dirt and for this process your head should not be very dirty.
* Add a little vinegar to the final rinsing water to clean very properly.
* If left unwashed for long time it may cause spots on your face and back.

Actually my hair dresser told me that if your hair is getting oily then you SHOULDN'T wash it everyday, at first its icky, but after a week its better... so now I take a shower every day and rinse it on the days I don't wash it, I mean I work out a lot so I cant not get it wet... but some people cover it entirely... try that for a change... they said the Shampoo dries your hair and scalp then your hair has to over compensate for you over washing it. Good luck.

1. Have a head massage with lime/ lemon before you shampoo.
2. Use a mild shampoo, timotei/ sunsilk herbal/ himalaya protein are good choices.
3. Repeat the shampoo application and rinse out well. Shampoo every / every alternate day...depends on how oily your hair feels. Rinse with cold water.
4. wear a cap / hat if travelling, dust and pollution triggers the oil glands in your scalp.

Too much shampooing may create dryness & result in over secretion of oil. Look for shampoo specially for oily hair type.
