Don't know an essential oil for hair growth, but jojoba oil, an all-natural oil, remarkably similar to the natural sebum secreted by our own skin, aids in hair growth. Also, its good for any hair breakage, split ends and damaged hair. It can be found at some health food stores.

Don't believe anyone that tells you that there is a beauty product that will grow your hair! There isn't one.
Hair grows an average of 1/2" a month, slowing down a little in the winter.
Good nutrition and healthy hair habits make for gorgeous locks!

there isn't one. you can give your hair more shine, volume or a silkier feeling, but growth rate cannot be altered by a topical or oral treatment. the average person's hair grows between 1/4 to 1/2 inch per month.
