Many experts suggest up to 6 small meals a day, but 3 should be the minimum...the body cannot get what it needs to perform to its best, when it's only fueled 1 time a day...that will also keep your metabolism running slower, so weight issues can come about (if they haven't already)...
Try to get into the habit of eating something for breakfast and lunch...even if it's a small something...a piece of fruit for b'fast or a healthy b'fast bar...a sandwich at lunch or small salad or fruit or something...
Think of your body and what's best for it...it needs fuel throughout the day to work to its best potential...and chances are you aren't getting the proper amount of vitamins and minerals in that one meal a day you eat (it would be very tough to do so)...

You should actually be eating 5-6 times a day.. once every 2-3 hours. This helps keep your metabolism up so you never have a problem with weight gain.
You can't possibly be eating all the recommended calories and getting a wide variety of vitamins from one meal.
Bascially you're going to be depriving your body of nutrients and slowing your metabolism. If you haven't had any problems yet it doesn't mean you won't in the future, especially as you get older.

I am overweight and have tried everything and i used to have a nutrionist. She told me that if you eat only once a day, 1 you aren't getting half of the nutrition your body needs, and 2 you will probably end up gaining more weight at first because your body starts to realize that you aren't going to feed it until dinner time. So it takes the dinner you had last night and stores it as fat because your body knows that it will not have enough food and nutrients to keep itself if your metabolism kicks in. So it gets into the habit of storing that food as fat, so that it can live for the rest of the day.

I don't really know how much harm it can do, but eating only once can make you overeat when you finally do eat, and you may be more susceptible to eating more unhealthy foods too. I get dizzy, shaky and sometimes sick if I don't eat when I need to. You probably aren't getting all of the nutrients you need in one meal either.

if you want to have plenty of energy and be fit...u need to eat 6 times a day or so of smaller meals...and balanced.....when u eat one time a day our body goes int ostarvation mode where it stores almost everything that one meal as body fat until you use it..but if u can only go eating one meal a day u obviously dont use it...it will catch up to you and make u fat man. ur metabolism is probably dead slow too..because the less you eat the slower ur metabolism

it is proven that eating small meals several times a day is better for you, but if you've been doing this for years, I can't see it hurting. Although, I would suggest taking some vitamin supplements. It sounds like your body may need them

You should eat three times a day, a human body needs to be fueled.
Depending on what your activity's are & how much energy you expend, equils how much food you need to consume.
If eating once a day works for you, then keep doing it.
Good Luck.
