It was really horrible, people were dying and when I woke up I was crying. I haven't read the bible, well to be honest, never and I hadn't eaten anything that would cause me to have this dream, nor watched anything relating to this. Lawks a mercy - I must be going round the twist!

You have to use the Word to interpret this. The plagues in the bible were used to get someones attention. They were also judgment pronounced on a group of people. Since you are not the one receiving the plague then I would have to look at the first explanation. The Lord is trying to get your attention! A plague represents filth, and you are the vessel, whether willing or unwilling, through which the filth is being spread.

Cast plague to people = problems send to others.
It seems like you are into escaping from responsibilities. You want your problem to be shared with other people. It also suggests that you have some sort of guilt conscience in the dream. You probably do not see it real life, but deep down subconsciously you do not want anything bad happened to you, if you do, you want others suffer the same as you. You projected the ability to cast the plague to indicate that you are sending your problem out to others. In other word, a way to escape from your own responsibilities. Yes, it could mean about your daily christian life.
