You will need to research your states laws on licensing requirements. But, as long as your felony charge was not for any thing related to cosmetology, ie: malicious destruction of a hair- do or illegally doing a make-over on an unwilling subject, then I think you are safe!! LOL!

Yes. I was never asked about my past when I went to Cosmetology school. I don't have a record though.

oh come on going to beauty school is far from a ivy league school i doubt they will give a rats *** if you have a felony conviction

Depends on the state. But I dont see why a felon couldnt, We let them wash dishes. Same thing.

Yes, you can. I used to be a cosmotologist, and when we went to state boards, I never was asked about a criminal backgroud. (I dont have one anyway)
