God has blessed me with hope and love. When I was younger I would go out with all my friends and party, do drugs, and start trouble. I am not sure I did all those things, but I regret it everyday. Christ Jesus delivered me from the party life, from bondage of alcohol and drugs. He showed me love, and how to love, life and how to live life. He filled the void that was in my heart with his mercy and grace. I am now over bondage, and I no longer hang out with the wrong crowd and starting trouble.
He has blessed me with a wonderful husband and a beautiful son. But the most extraordinary thing that God ever did for me, was to love me so much that he gave up his son to die on the cross for me. God has also forgiven all my sins, and that I am truly grateful!!!!

I have so many to share, there would not be room on this page. But for a start, He delivered me from alcohol after being an alcoholic for 45 years, and trying everything except prayer and Christ, He delivered from nicotine the same way. I have been sober for 16 years and haven't smoked for 9 years. He has been with me through open heart surgery, aneurysm surgery, and cancer. I am 73 and still going strong, thanks to the Trinity. If you do the arithmetic, you will see that I started drinking and smoking at 12 years old, so it really had hold of me. Praise the Lord.

He delivered me from a disease called low self-esteem. I still relapse at time, but I am more better equipped to handle it now. I am in a continuing process of renewing my mind. Romans 12:2 was my verse for my first sermon, and it is such a powerful verse, especially when you have always thought nothing but wrong about yourself and all situations; just always having a negative mind set! I truly thank God for his grace and mercy. There are plenty things he has delivered me from, but this, I must say is the most important. I know that my low self-esteem led to my other issues and it is evident that they won't leave unless you work on having a Christlike mind. God Is AWESOME! Thanks!

God has done great things for me. HE woke me up this morning provided food, shelter, and clothes for my body. HE gave me air to breathe and water to drink. HE has blessed me with a wonderful family, a son whom I've been carrying for 6 months now, caring friends, a good job, a means of transportation, and so much more. I am not worthy of HIS goodness and grace, but HE keeps on blessing me. God is an awesome God!
