do not think I explained properly before my question is
1) When guys email / text every day, seem genuinely interested in you as a person but is not obviously flirtatious but does hold your hand and sign his emails with kisses (he is shy anyway) does this mean that they may be intereted in you or more likely that they just want to be friends
2) if a guy drives 50 miles to see you has a nice time and contacts you ever day after that what possibly is going on in his head that he hasnt asked me out is it shyness or friends only or that he knows he is seeing me in 2 weeks anyway
3) shld i ask him out or shld i just wait
4) how can i find out if he likes me
5) when guys look at you and then look away and seem all shy is this a sign of being interested
6) is the fact he since our last meeting answers texts within the hr normally or emails same day whereas before he wld be much slower mean anything
7) does the fact he signs emails with xxx rather than x mean anything

I personally think he is shy and does fancy you, if you are not a shy person then take the initiative and ask him out for a proper date he can only say no and I would be surprised if he did. Good Luck Chick

Hi, think I can help! I met my boyfriend at work 8 months ago, he had a girlfriend. We started texting each other about things to do with work and soon we were texting each other hundreds of times a day! (phone bills of £300 a month were coming through my letter box!!) Even though we were constantly texting we didt really speak at work (both too shy). We then went out with work collegues one night and after a few drinks we spoke to each other and didnt shut up. We have now been together 6 months and about to move in together!
So, I think he does like you, all the points seem to match the questions I had before I got with my boyfriend. He is probably thinking the same as you and wants to know how you feel. I would tell him, just say.. there is something I want to tell you but dont want it to ruin our friendship, I really like you and was hoping that maybe we could be more than friends?
I think the answer will be the one you want!

I think from shy guys point of view, that yes he is interested but as you say shy, maybe even hold you in utmost respect and is not sure if you feel tha same way so says nothing. If he is as shy as some then maybe if you could break the ice a little by making a passing comment about how is such a lovely guy and you can't understand why he is single, if you had the chance you would date him etc. Just make his job a little easier. Guys who are shy or who have low confidence are petrified of being turned down, so would rather say nothing until they are absolutely sure, by then 9 times out of 10 it is too late.

Um yeah...He got's it bad for ya. All these things he's doing isn't because he want's to be your pal. He wants to be your boyfriend but is unsure of how to approach the subject. He is probably afraid that you'd say no and lock him in the dreaded friend zone which no guy likes. So he is giving you these subtle clues and checking your responses. I had a similiar situation back in high school with a wonderful girl whom I was friends with since our sophmore year. She finally broke the wall down by walking me to my car after we were hanging out at her place and then looked at me and asked if she could kiss me. It was the coolest. So if your interested in the guy...try something like that if he is acting a bit shy.

Don't want to seem unhelpful mate, but only the lad can answer your questions. We're all different so the things he is doing will not have a standard meaning. Its hard but the only way you are goning to know for sure is to ask him. I say you should just talk to him. Good luck, hope you get it sorted.

right fact is that this guy obviously has deep fealings for you, he is also extreamly shy, (i know this cos i am too) and the only way he can talk to you without fealing shy is through texts or emails. if u like him then i think you should ask him out.

First of all i think he's interested!!! LOL and get another friend who knows him to find out if he likes you. He definatly likes you. I would personally make a move to see what happens.

if he holds your hand he is either gay or likes you
i prefer the guy to make the first move - but in this case - if he is too shy - you might have to step up
