I am currious and have done a search through Wikipedia and cannot find the answer.....From what I can find, it doesn't look like they ever have. Anyone know?

Animal sacrifice ? Please elaborate further. Islam does not believe in the random killing of animals. An animal should be sacrificed only for need bases, such as food. there is a special way also, the animal must be sacrificed in the name of Allah, thanking him for this animal and that you are thankful that He provided it for you to eat. The method is called Zabiha and the meat then is called Halaal. Sorta kina like Kosher meat. hope this answers it.

the claim that Moses is a true prophet-yet the rejection of the fulfillment in Jesus of the blood sacrifice-is another point of Muslims not being muslims- Moses said-"The life of the flesh is in the blood, and ive given it upon the altar to make atonement for your souls." I'm not sure if I fully understand your question, but we have a specific ritual when slaughtering an animal for consumption. It's quite similar to the Jewish method.

Bakarid and many such festivals are very Grandly celebrated by Muslims in India when they kill many many animals thinking that it pleases Allah

Yes we do have a holiday called Eid-ul-Azha when we sacrifice once every lunar year.
