Dogs will eat chocolate and although it does not make them sick straight away (and so they will continue to eat it), the cocoa is poisonous to them. You can buy "special" chocolate from pet food shops for them.

normal chocolate cant really be given to dogs it can be harmful, but take a trip down to your pet shop...they have special dog chocolates and allsorts of other little treats for dogs.
