Just start by being a friend. Find out what she likes and if you can find a skill or interest that she likes that others might not have, you've got an in.
Also, just be yourself. Relax, and listen to what she says for clues. Once you get to know her, start out slow and ask her out to a movie or bowling or something that you'd both enjoy.
