I'm doing one session of cardio and one of pushups, pullups, abs, and legs. Then day 2 is one session cardio and a session of some weight machines at the gym. 2 days on, 1 off, 2 on, 2 off for about 2 weeks is my plan. I want to get one last big push in so I can really pump up my Army ROTC physical fitness test scores before the summer ends. I want to improve my situps, pushups, and 2-mile. Especially my pushups, they're the event I have the most difficulty with. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

that's rather annoying for a working grownup to come back homestead from an prolonged day and start up up thinking approximately supper, homework, housecleaning, and each thing else that must be completed and luxuriate in spending an hour walking the dogs. interior the morning its even worse, with the getting as much as have breakfast and prepare for artwork and making constructive the youngsters get off to college ok. childrens continuously say they're going to take care of the pets, yet then they by no ability stick to by daily like they'd desire to so it finally ends up being on the mummy and dad lower back. dogs stay 10 to 18 years, that is an prolonged time to be to blame for yet another residing element, thats as long as a baby in some cases! So definite, that is extremely demanding to offer a puppy the homestead it desires. we live interior the southern US and characteristic a three/4 acre fenced backyard with trees and squirrels and a quiet lifeless end highway and a constructive doghouse for our dogs, yet I nevertheless sense to blame through fact we don't walk her and he or she in basic terms gets to work out us interior the evenings while we are homestead. dogs are social creatures and should no longer be left on my own for long sessions.

To increase the amount of push ups you can do, you need to do them to faliure as often as poss, when you think you can do no more switch position, ie move hand further apart place one hand on a block to imbalance you , even put your knees to the floor to lessen the weight.
Please note though that this will increase only the muscles needed to push up and nothing else so it does need to be balanced out. Good luck

I've always liked doing pushups with a weight on my back for added resistance.

i wouldnt work out twice a day, i wouldnt even run and workout on weights on the same day. keep your cardio, situps, pullups and pushups one day, upper body on weights another and lower body on weights the other day. try to get a good split like... upper body, off, lower body off, cardio and others, off. good luck!

sure you can pull that off..make sure that resistance training and cardio are seperated from morning to evening....and make sure to ingest a good amount of whole wheat carbs an hour before each session...and follow up with protein and white carbs afterwards within the hour after ur workout....gets lots of sleep...eat plenty of calories(good balance)and when your training make sure to go hard..in other words pick up the intensity of each session....
