We have had her for one week so far and we have had approx 4 accidents inside the house. She is being crated at night (and that works great) and I'm a stay at home mom so I have her on a pretty routine schedule. I'm using the command phrases and she seems to know what we go outside for because she does "her business" pretty quickly but she still seems to not understand that she shouldn't do it indoors. Anyone tried the bell training?

bell training works amazingly well, my dog has only had 1 accident since we took away the bell i suggest you use that, after you take away the bell she will either bark or whine at the door when she has to go it works very well

I once had a Shih Tzu, and never was able to completely and successfully housebreak him.
The best he would do for me is go poopie two inches outside the back door. He went on the grass to pee.
I just made sure he spent alot of time outdoors.

First, utilising domestic dog pee pads will in basic terms instruct the domestic dog to potty interior the abode -- precisely what you do no longer choose. So, i do no longer propose them. listed right here are some issues to be conscious: a million. positioned your domestic dog on a feeding time table. 2. Take your domestic dog out at ordinary circumstances -- often. 3. How enormous is your crate? The crate could in basic terms be super adequate for the domestic dog to coach around and lay down in. If it rather is bigger than that, then the domestic dog will pass to a minimum of one end and potty and sleep in the different end. the concern is, they very practically continually have no selection yet to stroll in it. if your crate is in basic terms too enormous, i choose to propose partitioning it off so it rather is smaller. 4. keep in mind, your domestic dog is in basic terms a sprint one and burglary takes time. in case you could no longer watch her - positioned her interior the crate and/or positioned her on a leash so which you recognize what she's doing in any respect circumstances. Is your domestic dog cope with further on? if so, once you're taking her out and she or he potties exterior compliment her lavishly and supply her a cope with. each and each time you try this, she will have the means to learn that it rather is the habit you like.
