Since you don't mention which models you're considering, I'll put them in order from best to worst (my opinion of course) for overall quality. It would probably change if I knew which particular models or even the category of vehicles (small sedan, SUV, etc.).
1. Subaru
2. Mazda
3. Hyundai
4. Ford
5. Kia
6. Daewoo

I've only had experiences with Ford and Hyundai. My Hyundai was the best little car ever -- just a couple minor inexpensive problems and it just kept running, and running. I had a '92 Hyundai Scoupe.
I currently own an '88 Mustang and an '02 Escape and both have been very reliable cars with no major problems.
You can also check out Consumer Reports . . . they rate the best and worst cars.

go ford cause the others are crap I have 2 fords for sale right now a car and a truck if you would like more info email me at jen1999_81@yahoo.com I have a kia and it is junk broke down all the time right now I cant drive it cause it is broke gas mileage sucks and everything is bad on them I have had it for 3 years and it has been nothing but problems

From them choices i would take the Subaru or the Mazda,i personnally own a Toyota for everyday use with 211,000 mi and it runs like it's new.Some rust but hey uses alot less gas than my other weekend and nice day to drive only the car in the picture,good luck.

Subaru and Mazda r best.. If u want AWD go for a subaru, if not stick to a mazda.. by the way yea ford is crap and yeah a honda civic is better than any of the mentioned companies..

All of the above are horrible. You basically listed all of the crappiest vehicles in the world. You forgot Suzuki though. Go on Ebay and get you a Honda Civic.
