By now, the entire world knows about our poor border security. Do you think that this is a prelude to terrorism in the U.S. through our porous borders?

I was wondering the same thing.
After 9-11, any President worth his salt, would have sealed the borders.

I would say 9-11 answered any question about having terrorists in our country. No matter what security we put on the border if a person has the will, resources and money he or she will be able to bribe or intimidate some one to let them in the USA. Historians say the Great Wall of China was breached by paying bribes to gate keepers and we don't even have a great wall to breech.

I do believe that there are terrorists among us even now, and that the non-existent border enforcement policy of the Bush administration has encouraged the influx.

I live only about 10 miles away from the Los Angeles ports. My biggest fear is that they will become a target of terrorists. They are also wide open and extremely vunerable to attack. An attack on the L.A. ports could shut down shipping worldwide.

Even without the issue of illegal immigration, Bush's failure fulfill his promise "to secure our country from all enemies, foreign and domestic" is nothing short of treasonous.

Food for thought....If you were a billionaire like Bin Laden would you live in a cave or would you walk across our border, shave, get a haircut, buy clothes and live in NYC where you could look out any window and see what you had accomplished?

I seen it on TV how certain borders aren't protected at all. I say it's good advertising for terrorists. It's like saying, Hey guys, you can get in this way!' So to answer your question, yea I think they are crossing our borders.
