If you are worried about safe sex, a condom should prevent blood making contact with his penis, but you should be using a condom if you are or are not having your period. If you are just worried about hygiene, it will wash right off. It's usually not as bad as you think and certainly shouldn't stop yo from having sex if you want to!

What about it? It's blood, not toxic waste...it washes off...makes a good lube...and many guys couldn't care less about it...just put some towels or something down that can be washed (bleached) so you doing soil the bed linen or fabric on whatever you are having sex on.

a) She's more likely to be horny and responsive -- the estrogen/testosterone balance is different right before and after the menses, and the higher level of testosterone makes both sexes more sexually receptive.
b) She's less likely to get pregnant as a result of that uncovered penis.
c) I would hope he'd take a shower sometime after anyway, so what's the issue of her issue?

The best thing to do is for the girl to let the guy know she is on her period. The girl is the most infertile at this point. If the guy wants to wait he can, or if he wants to have sex he can also.

Is everyone forgetting?? The dude should be wearing a condom. Take the thing off and the penis is clean, more or less.

Hey, if he don't mind, you shouldn't mind. Just tell him before that you are on your period. If he wants to proceed, put a towel on the bed and go for it. He can always wash it off after.

First off its the most dangerous time to transmit disease.
This is a selfish and stupid act on your part for any reason!
Blood is the very least of your concerns!

Nothing wrong with that. I hope you are protecting yourself (and himself) from STD's (HIV and HEP C comes to mind). Contact with body fluids is a dangerous practice...especially blood. Be safe young lady...
