I want to hear from the guys. Don't you feel left out? Will all these single mothers be good parents, or are we headed for social disaster?

Single mothers are awesome parents worthy of superhero respect. But we are headed for a social disaster with fathers missing. Please understand that there are pockets of great fathers. Single motherhood is pervasive but not everywhere.

People are giving up too easily on their relationships these days. Instead of trying to work things out they just say I want out. My husband and I have been married for almost 5 years and we have been through hell beginning even before the wedding...3 early miscarriages (the first miscarriage was a month before the wedding), the extremely premature birth of our now 2 year-old son and the death of our daughter when I was 21 weeks pregnant. A lot of people just are not taught that you need to work together. My husband was a single father for 9 years when I met him (His first wife passed away when his kids were 5 & 6 years-old) and he did a great job. Just because someone is a single parent does not mean that the kids are going to be holy terrors. That is just bad parenting all-together and that can happen in a two parent family also.

There have been single mothers for many generations. Society has allowed teen pregnancy to be socially acceptable but responsibility for ones actions is still popular in society. I feel two parent families are usually dad earning income and mom child rearing so possibly there have billion of single moms who had partners in the house.

Single motherhood is becoming increasingly strong however I don't think it's the single mother's we need to worry about. Of course 90% of them will be awesome mothers. Unfortunatly grandparents will be raising the other 10% because the parent's are still kids themselves. There are grips of great fathers out there supporting their children and helping the mothers of their children even though they aren't together. There are also many men out there whom don't have children and fall in love with a single mother. Kaboom.."insta-family" as they call it.

The world is changing and we all need to catch up with the times. My boyfriend has no children but loves me and my daughter so much you'd think she was his. It all works out in the end. : )

No! imagine all the chaos which could reason! All those childrens would get taken away and placed right into a foster care equipment this is already overburdened. And what about women who're unmarried moms through no fault of their own? What in the journey that they are widowed, or their husband divorced them and left to be with yet another lady? What if she left him because he became abusing her or the youngsters? Why on earth could any of those women be penalized, and for that remember, why could their toddlers be traumatized through being taken faraway from their moms? childrens who develop up in foster care are way, way, way extra afflicted than childrens who develop up with a unmarried mom. you'd be tossing them out of the frying pan into the fireplace. per chance, because unmarried mother and father have a extra sturdy time of it, per chance really of stealing their childrens and both fining or jailing the mothers and fathers, we could continuously come across a extra constructive thanks to help them so as that their childrens will finally end up extra constructive. would not that be extra effective? i imagine it may be. in any case, yet another element to think about is the actual undeniable truth that you're incorrect contained in the first position. childrens raised through unmarried moms at the on the spot are not "usually" criminals. maximum folk of the persons in penitentiary come from damaged homes, certain, yet that doesn't mean all childrens from damaged homes land up in penitentiary. you've were given a large hollow on your good judgment there. And as well all that, what about the fathers? It takes 2 to make a baby, not purely the female - why do not you want to swoop down and ruin the fathers of those toddlers too? Hm? Is it ok for men to bugger off and abandon their childrens?

We already are in a social disaster. If people would just wait until they are married to have sex, this world would be better off.
