Since God believes that all people should be humble, and Shatner seems to have trouble with that, could it be that God was simply trying to help Capt. Kirk gain a little humility? I mean, when someone thinks they're as cool as God, it kinda ticks the big guy off, wouldn't you think?

He was busy making sure Kevin Federline Kept his end of the deal with the devil. God apologizes for letting the Shatner get made fun of.

It was a sad display of entertainment, but keep in mind that he was not a real captain. He portrayed a captain on a fictional television show. It was a bit corny, but brought in a lot of viewers.
God had nothing to do with the writing of such ridiculous remarks.

thats a question you'll have to answer for yourself. spirituality plays a big and important role in many people's lives. contrary to evidence from science there are still many people that need something to belive in, which is great. I depends on your feelings about everything from life to the universe. But i dont think anybody can give you a clear answer to that question because nothing can be proven.
