I didn't get my B.S. until I was 27. Things come up all the time. I had to cut classes short when my father fought cancer for two years. The lack of money meant I had to work, which means fewer classes per semester. There is no time limit when it comes to getting a degree. Ask yourself, is this still what you really want? I know it can be frustrating. There were times when I was frustrated and considered quitting. I had to ask myself if I still wanted to be a teacher. I decided that it was still my passion, and not to let myself down. Maybe you simply need to re-evaluate your major. You are still at the point where you can pretty much do whatever you wish. Just remember, age is not a factor. Desire is what counts.

You betcha it's worth it. I have been going to school all my life. Should have just gone for what I really wanted to do in the beginning.. vet medicine like my grandad, but I stared out in a school of industrial design and wound up teaching in the art department of a community college. Then I got my certification in rural library management and worked in the automation of a library. I worked for several years in banking because of my computer experience back when they were automating too. I then got my bachelor of business admin in management and managed a Royal Canadian Legion and now I manage an oil field service company. I also took small business bookeeping, excel, simply accounting. Kiddo what I'm saying is.. I should have stayed in college in the first darn place and done what I really wanted to do.. vet medicine. Don't second guess your choice.. it's a struggle but stick with it. Get a part time job if necessary and go part time until you have your sealegs but don't quit.

I went to college and didn't finish and ended up being a truck driver for the next 12 years. Now that trucking has wrecked my back, I am going back to college (at age 40!) to study geography, GIS mapping and wilderness. Finish college or you will not get a career, you will just "find a job". Look for scholorships and try to obtain any financial aid you can qualify for. Hang in there!
Best wishes!

ya, you gotta finish. I am 23, and am now 4 classes away. 4 years to finish is becoming less and less common as restrictions and course crowding, more credit #s, and co-op/internships take the place of conventional university study.
stick it out, MOST of my classmates are 25-28 yo. sometimes we start later in life, but honesty, just think of how much better off you will be in life with a Bachelors Degree! you need it these days!

Your age has nothing to do with it. If you want a college degree, keep at it. Maybe you need to take a semester off to get your head back in the game, but don't completely quit.
