If you are in your mid-20's or older there is no problem dating someone younger. Your emotional age is far more important than your numeric age. As others on here have said, the older you are the less it matters. However, just be prepared that society may see it differently. More often you do see younger women with older men. Be prepared that some (narrow-minded) people may feel differently about your relationship. But if you truly like the guy, just have fun and go with it!

As long as it is legal it is fine. I have never dated a woman younger than me my whole life. My wife is 5 years older than I am. It can sometimes help even the relationship in that you are older and he is male. That way there is a balance of power. Anyway, when having an argument, you will love being able to say, "You are just so immature!" My wife still uses it.

6 yrs is not a big age difference if the two of you are older, if he's a minor and you're not, then it's questionable.
This stuff about "he acts older than his age" is bull. People act older than their age sometimes, but that doesn't mean they have matured in all aspects.

No it is not wrong unless he is not of age, you could go to jail for that. My husband is 8 years younger than I am and we have a great marraige, so if he acts older than his age honey that is a good thing, you better keep him because most men act younger than that.

NOT AT ALL

take some advice from demi moore honey, love bears no limitations!
My sweetie is 2 years younger then me, The way I see it is as long as your happy then that's all that matters. Hopefully your friends and family will see it the same way, and if they don't, just give them some time.
Besides, on average women live longer then men....mature faster and have a later sex peak.....consider it as taking the iniciative to even out the scores.

As long as you are both of legal age of consent, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with this. It isn't the age difference that matters, it's how well you two get along in life & how much you care & love each other.

As long as you're over hmmm, 22 (of course as a 14-year old I would have LOVED to date a 20-year old, but society frowns upon this). I'm a guy.

There's not a damn thing! Iif he knows how to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up with just a touch or smile, then to hell with age. You only live once, might as well be happy while your living.

Not wrong in the least. But if he is like stil a minor totally no sex going on. No need to go to jail for being sooo into his maturity and forgetting his age. But if he is legal go with it, enjoy it.

No. It is fine as long as both of you are over 18 years of age and have similar beliefs, values, goals and levels of emotional maturity.
