Pick up lines almost never work...
But here are a few that might at least get a girl to laugh:

1) the guy dips his hand in some water and puts his finger on her, then the guy does the same to himself. Then he says "why don't we go back to my place and get out of these wet clothes"

2) Guy walks up to a girl, downs her drink and asks "Can I buy you a drink?"
This would probably make her p!ssed off so is too risky

3)The best line in the world though is "Hello"
She can't be nasty if a guy says that to her. And if she is nasty, then she's not worth the time anyway

And if those fail, a guy could always go to a maths convention and use these pick up lines:
