my step mum complains hear sound on her left ear and ats very uncomfortable,her blood preasure is normal she is not on daily medication,the ear doesn't itch or pain her but the sound is very discomforting pls help.

better go see a doctor. the mysterious kinds fo illnesses are the ones we should get worried about. better that you know soon exactly what causes the discomfort than be left wondering :)

u r step mum has what is termed as "TINNITUS". the sound may vary from a continjuous whining musical note to clicking noises like a watch.
the causes may vary from a simple ear infection, to cholesteatoma
i would suggest a thoroug ear exam by a doc and a ct scan if required to rule out cholesteatoma

She should go visit and Ear,Nose and Throat doctor ASAP...whenever your having discomfort in your ears, its always important to get it checked out....
