of favors for co-workers & friends. I am the type of person that is really quiet and keeps to himself. I am wondering why people keep asking me for favors when I really want nothing to do with anybody. I know that this is not the category to ask this type of question, but I will get the most responces here.

People might mistake the quiet for shy and easy to manipulate. I'm guessing telling them a firm 'no' will get them to stop asking (although it might take a few times)

just say no ,people will soon stop asking you, of course then you will be classed as a miserable so and so but you dont sound as if you are the type of person that would bother are you?

just be bold and say no, I just want to be left alone people will do what you ask, if you are assertive
