Whole wheat pasta! Be creative with different veggies and sauces.
Stir-fry is easy too. You can get stir-fry veggies in bags in the freezer at the supermarket but you dont have to limit it to oriental flavors.

This is one of my two little girls favorite recipes, and i love that because its sooo healthy for them! Also it's EXTREMELY filling so i always make it when i need to take dinner to someone else, especially a larger family because it is cheap, and they are always shocked at how good it is becuase when its done being cooked, it doesn't look like its going to be as good as it is. I don't have exact measurments because i kinda just made it up one day (although i'm sure its exsisted for a long time) but give it a try! One tip, you can use green or purple cabbage, but i use purple because when you boil it it turns purple and tourquoise and my kids just love the color of it! 1 head of cabbage (any color) 1 lb ground meat (i use alternate between beef and turkey, beef will make this a cheaperr meal. 1 small can of diced tomatoes 1 small can of cream of whatever soup (i use chicken and usually the store brand fat free one) 1 bag shredded cheese (i also use the low fat version of this but regular cheese melts better) Any spices you may want (i use season all, but ot to much because the tomatoes will make it salty enough) Cut the cabbage in half as you will only need 1/2 a head if you are only using 1 lb of meat, this way you have a whole half a head of cabbage to use in a different meal later in the week. Boil water and then put the cabbage in. If you like your cabbage crunchy let it boil 5-10 minutes then remove from heat and allow it to sit in the water while you prepare everything else (the longer you boil it the softer it gets). In a pan cook and grind up the meat. When meat is thouroughly cooked add your cream soup and tomatoes and mix well, add spices to taste. Remove cabbage and cut it in half along the spine, from here you can chop it up into large peices or i take my off leaf by leaf, cut the half leaves in half, and use it this way. With a baking dish put a layer of your cabbage mix along the bottom then cover with cheese, then another layer of mix, then cheese until all the mix is in the pan. When i do it i layer the cabbage leaves then a layer of meat then cheese and so on. Put in the oven on broil for about 7 minutes, this will melt the cheese and make everything warm and yummy!! Whenever i make this people aren't able to eat as much as they think they can, they also love it so much more then they thought they were going to so i always send left overs with people. Its filling and good for you plus cabbage is a really cheap item! Time wise i can have this meal ready in a 1/2 hour which is important becuase i only get 3 hours a night every other week to feed my kids and get them off to their grandmas (as i work at 4 am and my husband is gone right now). The nice thing about this is that you can prepare all the ingredients before hand, throw them together, stick them in a bowl in your fridge and whe you are ready you can dump it in a pan, throw it in the oven for 7 minutes and dinners ready!!1

It's easy to pick up a single fish fillet, and fish is low fat and high in a million good things. Wrap your fillet in tinfoil with a dusting of breadcrumbs and some lemon juice, salt and butter and then bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 350. The simplicity of this dish is amazing, and the versatility astounding. You can use almost any type of fish, and the choices of toppings are endless. Use your imagination and go with what you like best. Good luck!

Really cheap and easy: Turkey lunch meat on a low carb tortilla, then heat in the microwave, roll and eat. Also, spagetti with turkey sausage.
