Here's my opinion:

If you are illegal, you should NOT be allowed to have any assistance from the government. No living expenses, no health care, nothing. There are enough people in the US to take care of without having thousands of illegal immigrants taking from the system. A lot of them are coming to the US, having a baby, and then they are allowed to stay because the baby is considered a US citizen. This should not be allowed. There is a hospital in Texas that takes illegal immigrants for free...who do you think is paying for the medial costs?

America needs to wake up and quit sitting back and listening to the bologna that is being fed to us by the government. Our hard earned tax dollars are going to feed someone who doesn't even belong here. Did you know that illegals are allowed to purchase homes (often times qualifying for much higher loans then Americas that work everyday!!)? There are people actually fighting for them to have rights here!!!! How about the apartment complex they want to build in Northern Virginia so they have a place to live? We need to unite and stop all of this nonsense before we loose ALL CONTROL!

DO YOU THINK OTHER COUNTRIES WOULD FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHTS IF WE WERE THERE ILLEGALLY?? THINK ABOUT IT PEOPLE.

I can understand the desperation that drives people to come to this country illegally. What I can NOT understand is how they can stand there on camera and say "I haven't done anything wrong". They have to know sneaking into the country is wrong and legal citizens have a right to say that it's wrong. What they should be saying is "I haven't done anything ELSE wrong".

It is also wrong to say they are taking jobs we don't want. We don't want them because the pay is lousy, and the pay is lousy because the illegal workers are willing to accept the lower wages. If a landscaper can't find workers for his lousy pay he will raise the salary or go out of business. The fair market system only works if the market is fair and businessmen know they can unfairly take advantage of illegal workers. By their mere presence as a potential workforce they are creating the lower paying jobs they are filling.

I think that illegal immigrants in America are a great scapegoat to our own ineffectuality.

Rather than blame ourselves for a lack of hard work, let's just blame the Mexicans for taking the oh-so-desired fruit-picking and fast-food service jobs.

I think people who want the immigrants to be gone so badly fail to realize that because of our own capitalistic structure, our generation must work harder than ever in order to be able to compete on a global scale.

If a person in China can program in C/C++ as well as I can, and will be willing to develop software for 20% of what I'd ask for.... I'm pretty sure that companies are going to be wanting people like him.

Americans no longer face the luxury of being able to cruise through high school, and expect to get a job that'll not only pay for food and rent, but also for raising a family.

Fine, let's get rid of the illegals, whatever the hell that means. Our living conditions won't change either way (except our produce will be much more expensive, and a lot less fresh)...

It's time that America wake up, get educated, and get motivated to not be crushed by the other countries.

When we can stop blaming other people for our problems, and pick up the damn slack, THAT'S when we'll start seeing growth.

Until then, it's going to be people like me, screwing over the stupider, lazier people, just so I can live more comfortably... because I didn't fade out after High School.

Maybe you are an illegal, too, since you don't know the language or how to use it properly ( about of). Trying to get a response from me, you must be serious in your attempt by asking more specific questions, not so general as you did above. Try again, amigo.

They are not illegal because no human is illegal, whether race, religion, language, culture...no one should be judge because of just a bunch of documents.

I support all those who fight for rights towards illegal immigrants.

I think they should all be deported. Illegal means you aren't supposed to be here. If someone wants to live in this country they need to go about it the legal way and file for citizenship. If they can't even abide by that law what's to say they can abide by any of our laws?

In America, because you have very little in the way of a welfare system (compared to countires like the UK) the immigrants don't really take much out of your economy, but contribute a whole bunch. Was it last year that there were news reports that some farmers near the Mexican border couldn't get their whole harvest because of stricter than ever border controls?

In countires like the UK, where we have free health care and school and other benefits, immigrants take a lot more from the economy.

I think all convicted crooks, rapists, thieves, scammers, robbers, embezzlers, molesters, murders and anyone convicted of assault with intent should be shipped out to sea and kept there until they're dead enough for shark bait. Then they should be fed to the sharks.

These are the illegals you're talking about, right?

Or are you talking about people who cross the street in the middle of the block, or who drive over the speed limit, or who cause public disturbances? Maybe you're talking about litterers too. Have I covered everyone possible? If not, please help me.

The ones that are trying to make a living in America I have no problem with, but the ones that are the few bad apples, I think dont belong here.
