This day is just beginning
Who knows what it may hold.
I shall gather from it blessings,
Eternal wealth untold.
Each second is a diamond,
Each breath a work of art.
And all is mine to share.
And to treasure in my heart.
May I spend it wisely,
Loving all I can
Showing honor to my God,
And love to my fellow man.
This is all I ask Lord
May I this promise uphold.
Let me live this life with love
Until this life is old.
And then when I am done
And I draw my final breath,
I shall have no regrets
When I embrace my earthly death.

It's wonderful and refreshing to read, thank you for sharing it with us.
There are a few syntactical errors, but they are well hidden by the outstanding beauty of the poem.
Honestly, I can't describe it any better than Falco, so I say keep expressing your life through poetry, since you seem able to do so.

I'm in no sense a theist, but it struck me positively.
It's a humble, unselfish, non-judgemental prayer, and while I'd re-check your periods and commas - in particular, I'd turn the periods after "art" and "share" into commas - it strikes me as containing the kind of sentiment more people should espouse - especially the "May I spend it wisely". Amen, and the blessings of your god go with you. Thank you for bringing this to my day.

My honest opinion: its actually quite beautiful. Im not exactly sure as to whether the literaturic quality is equal to the best that there is (my scholarly English is quite rusty so I cant tell anymore), but the message is clearly wonderful and bright.

Keep writing and always have faith my friend in God.

With ease your tongue declares
the love each line profess
If I could but adopt it mine
This day my soul can rest.
