Have tried scart to scart but tha does not work.

Your scart socket or cable might be faulty.
Most freeview boxes have two scart out sockets. Connect this to one of your free scart in sockets on your video and you should be able to change the channel on the video to one of the aux channels and record from there.

need scart from freeview to video and video out to tv scart.

plug digibox nto video av1... then video to tv... when you turn video on... it will change tv channel..


buy some good quality scarts... those black ones are rubbish and maybe, that's your problem.....

it should go:

Ariel - Digibox
Digibox - Video
Video - TV

and that will allow you to record either through AV or video channel.
