I have never planned a bridal shower before and I need some help. The bride has chosen a country & western theme for her wedding and wants the shower to kind of reflect that theme too. I'm ususally very creative when it comes to this stuff but I can't think of anything that would be fun without being cheesy. I need game ideas and things. Can ya'll give me some suggestions?

The theme for the wedding day does not have to be the same for the shower. But if she wants it to then go for it.
You could serve bbq picnic type food and drinks (lemonade and iced tea is great if it's a non-drinking party).
Local party stores have western themed items you can use. Also check into www.plumparty.com or www.oriental.com

A country and western bridal shower? That's kind of an oxymoron I guess.
Maybe you should just have country kitch decorations, but go light on them. A bridal shower is suppose to be girly and lighthearted.
You could also find a nice location to reflect the theme.

Take her to ride the mechanical bull...and hire a cowboy to take off his chaps for her...that'd get it going! *grin* Good luck!
