It's perfectly normal. I'm going into middle school for the first time(my old school treated 6th grade like elementary) and I'm plenty nervous. I'm afraid, as is almost everyone that changes schools. The only kids who usually aren't are kids who go to a k-12 school

Take this from a girl who has been in 8 different schools and is only in 11th grade. It is very normal....you'll feel better once you get to know some people.

Of course it is. You are going to a new environment and you will be around people you have never met going thru the same thing you are. Make new friends and you won't be nervous anymore

Yes, of course it is. We all have a fear of the unknown and a fear of change. Just try to relax and go with it. Change is good and what is unknown will soon be known.
