Yes. Jesus speaks to us via the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and he is God's messenger. The Holy Spirit delivers God's plan for each individual to that individual. The Holy Spirit delivers God's direction for each person (God does not give council, he gives direction). All true ministers of God are guided by Jesus. A sheep that does not listen to him is disciplined because Jesus is the good shepherd who loves each member of his flock. Jesus loves you.

Yes, he does. I always talk to the Lord Jesus. Do I hear his voice as I would hear a human voice, no, but just the same he talks to me. Example, I was having some really deep marital problems and my other half was doing some pretty ungodly things. He even wanted a divorce. Long story short, he started acting nice again (out of the blue) which has happened before, so I was very skeptical as to if I should feed into it. I talk to God and told him that I was very unsure and asked him to give me a VERY specific sign. A sign that would be unmistakable. I actually named the sign, which was unlikely. Two days later, that specific sign happened, and I got my answer from God to my question.
There are many other incidences in my life that God has spoke to me clearly as well. Have faith and trust in the Lord Jesus!

you may want to attempt utilising common sense, yet i'm not promising consequences. In that scripture, a parable, if one believes they particularly listen Jesus' voice, then we ought to take the Jesus as a doorkeeper or shepherd to be literal also, and that we are sheep, not people. And why might want to this man or woman be chosen out of each and absolutely everyone to take heed to Jesus' voice? Jesus is in heaven and has spoken by ability of his Father's be conscious, the Bible. We pay interest via examining and meditating upon it. the purely spirit creatures interior the position of the earth are devil and his demons. (Revelation 12:9, 12)

Yes he does. He speaks through preachers all the time. Also to average people. If you watch a couple of preachers in the same day on t.v. or in person you will notice that they are preaching about similar or the same things. They may have never met each other so how can they do this? Because Jesus is speaking to them.

Christians usually hear Paul.
Jesus, who may have been a rabbi and wise teacher, whispered.
Paul screamed.
And, in taking the Essene sect to Rome and Greece, Paul corrupted Jesus's teachings into Paulism, which he called Christianity.

Yes God speaks and those who take the time to "listen" will hear his voice. His own know his voice. Some may call it concience that prompts them to do or not do something; perhaps they have not realized it is the voice of God within them.

Don't work too hard, Pope says
2006/8/21
CASTELGANDOLFO, Italy, Reuters
Too much work can be bad for you, even if you are the Pope, Pope Benedict said on Sunday.
Speaking during his Sunday address at his summer residence south of Rome, the Pope quoted from the writings of St. Bernard of Chiaravalle, who lived in the 11th and 12th centuries.
"We have to guard ourselves, the saint observed, from the dangers of excessive activity, regardless of the office one holds, because too many concerns can often lead to hardness of heart," the Pope said.
"This warning is valid for every type of job, even those concerned with the government of the church," he said.
The 79-year-old Benedict noted that the saint had written to the pontiff of the times, Eugene III, warning him of the dangers of working too hard.
Benedict said one should always make room for "prayer and contemplation."
