Fear..The idea of deception is crucial.

The Antichrist isn't the devil, the opposite of God. He's an evil human masquerading as a golden god. The Antichrist appears to humanity not as the hideous Beast but as handsome.

"Antichrist," only appears four times in the Bible, in the letters of John.

In the Greek, the word "anti" doesn't just mean "against." It also contains the meanings "equivalent to" or "a substitute for." Nero was anti-Christ because he falsely claimed to be God.

We should keep in mind what the Bible says at 1 Thessalonians 5:2: "For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night." and at Mark 13:32,33: "But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is."
Matthew 24: 37-39: " But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

We need to pay careful attention and not be too caught up in the anxieties of everyday life. And anyone who denies what the Bible says about Jesus Christ, all who oppose his Kingdom, and anyone who mistreats his followers is considered an anti-christ .
Jesus warned us that there would be many antichrists and would mislead many in these last days.

***Why do people spend so much time worrying about an anti-christ or an end times and not just live for the today ***

Because folks are being vigilant and do not desire a return to the doings of the dark ages.
Really, how do you prove you are not a witch and why did God not intervene or prayers work
to eliminate the horrors that were done in the name of God.?

I think that many people are preoccupied with worries about the antichrist/end times because this is eventually what they want. They want to be raptured away. They think that it's a literal meaning when it is not. We all have antichrist in us, that is part of the human struggle. To recognize and kill that part of ourselves is the real matter at hand. This is what rapture means to me. That part of you is no more, and you are filled with joy and light to make up for the part that has been excised. And to me, that is the meaning of living for today. To do as much good as you can, and stop being so materialistic, turn off the tv.

I wish I could give you more than one thumbs up, that is a very excellent question! Living for today is someting I have been working on a lot lately, and so far the experience has been awesome! I don't worry about things I can't control anymore, because all it does is make me a negative and unhappy person. I pray, do what I have to do each day, and let God take the rest. I give thanks, I go to bed, and do it all again the next day when I find I'm lucky enough to get another day! :)

I personally don't know anyone who worries about the antichrist. If you are saying that with regard to the questions on this forum, questions are coming up probably because of what is going on in the world, people are aware of bible prophecy and are curious about it. Actually I'm glad that so many questions are showing up, that means some people may be thinking about such things as God, Jesus, heaven and hell. Good things to think about.

I don't worry about it. I do live each day to it's fullest. With the exception of an hour or two on this site. Which I'm not so sure is not a complete waste of time.
