I want to know why some people think Islam is messed up? And Why people dislike ALL Muslims because some bastards can't interpret things correctly and blow themselves up while killing many people in the process. No where in Islam does it say commiting suicide will send you to Paradise. Or killing a person who doesn't agree with Islam will also send you to Paradise. I am Muslim, I would never hurt anyone for choosing something other than Islam! I don't even care if you are an atheist! I have my own beliefs and you have your own. I wonder sometimes why these people who kill, commit suicide and offend other peoples belief call themselves Muslim! In Islam every human being has no right to stop someone from believing what they want and even worse murder them for it! I don't consider these people Muslim no matter how much they say it. I just don't appreciate stereotypes who think Muslims and their religon is messed up. I'm still curious as to why people still think ALL Muslims are CrAzY?

Although Islam has been around for over 1500 years, it has remained fairly unknown to Western culture. Now that the extremist Islamic terrorists have brought it forth to the Western view, it comes with all the predjudice and ignorance that you don't want because of the negative press. Even though I am not Islamic, I have close friends who are Saudis and very close to their faith. These friends of mine really represent what the truth of Islam is all about, and that it is a religion of peace and honoring God. Now it is up to YOU and your Islamic friends to show the world what the true nature of Islam is all about!

But by your own admission, you don't care what others believe. You're not a true muslim. According to Islam and the Koran, all unbelievers are infidels, deserving of destruction.
So just calling yourself a muslim doesn't make you a muslim. Your religion is defined by your actions, not by your title. If you don't like the precepts of your religion, or you don't agree with the Koran, which is the very basis of your religion, maybe you should find a religion you can stand behind in good conscience.
And its not just you, either. Many people claim to be Christians, but they're not. They don't believe the truth of the bible, which is the very basis of their religion. That's true hypocracy. It's calling God a liar. It's also ignorant to follow something that, in their own eyes, has no believable basis.

I don't think muslims are crazy, there certainly a minority that are crazy but then you have that with every religion. I am not familiar with the Qur'an but my view is that these so called freedom fighting suicide bombers interpret their religion differently to everyone else. If they think the answer is to kill everyone who doesn't believe what they do then they are simply evil.
I wish this group of people could actually look in the mirror and realise what they are doing, it is an absolute discgrace.
I think one moral that all people no matter what religion you believe should follow is:
We should treat people how we ourselves would like to be treated.

I don't and even if some are then it's also Christianitys fault...back when the Islam was founded Muslims really didn't care what people believed in.When Jerusalem was under their control Christians and so on lived in peace...hundreds of years of hatred and crusades changed that by some Christians and Muslims

Because to put it bluntly:
I've read the Quran. Cover to cover (though, admittedly, in English, not the original arabic). I saw a manual for war propaganda. Muhammad flat out told his people that they had every right to rule everything and if anyone disagreed, they had to accept being second class citizens and pay the tax demanded of them. Anyone who was not muslim, and who did not pay the tax, was to be put to death.
Muhammad spoke numerous times of terror on those who did not follow islam and his take on Allah, if they would not yield to islamic rule.
While the whole "72 virgins in heaven" might be a modern invention (I'm not sure if it is or not, it's certainly not from the Quran, maybe one of the other law-books), the idea of dying for Allah and Islam is poured out throughout the entire book, and paradise is promised to Allah's martyrs.
In short, if you believe that Islam is a religion of peace, you REALLY need to reread your own holy text. Islam is on par with Old Testament Judiasm for its sheer monstrosity of genocide and murder.
It is a sad fact of having a holy text that it can be used to turn good and upright people into barbaric monsters, regardless of if that text is Torah and Tanuch, the Bible, the Quran, the Satanic Bible, the Book of Mormon (though admittedly -- most of these folk are pretty docile... hmm...), etc...

The Prophet Muhammad said that one who commits suicide will be in hell. Islams position is clear. To say all muslims are terrorists is like me saying that all christians want to hang black people from trees

I don't think muslims are crazy. Sincerely wrong in their beliefs, but not crazy. Many are wonderful folks and I know they are also children of God; I hope someday they realize that and come to know their Saviour. God bless you. ~Nisa
