i had been asking questions on here about my boyfriend who was acting really strange. well, when i went to buy his birthday present friday, i caught him there with his ex girlfriend. i haven't talked to him since, and i took his b-day gift back, but i really loved this guy. how can i move on? i'm not staying with him, because i know i deserve better, but i don't know how to get over someone that i truly love. oh, in case you guys read my profile, no he's not my babies' sperm donor.

I know it sucks, but time is what you need.If you really loved him it will take a while to get over him.I am so happt that you are not going to stay with him and you know you deserve better because it's true.I get so sick of those pathetic girls who allow themselves to be treated badley and stepped on.

Hi Trisha,
I think the best way to move on/get over him, is to fall in love again. I did read your profile, you seem like a very nice young lady so probably guys would be queueing for u... Don't just pick the first in the line, I hope you won't be so dissappointed the next time. Good luck to you and your kids

Just put yourself back out there, you wil be fine. Maybe you need to give yourself some time to get over him as well. The key thing you said in you're question was that you know you deserve better. You're already on the way to moving past him. Good luck.

The only thing you can do sweetie is move on. Do things for yourself...get nails done, shop, etc... Go out with friends as well, enjoy the single life.

With in time you realize you are much better with out and you will get the person you deserve to be with for the rest of your life!

Any relationship takes time to get over, no matter who you are, and no matter how long you were in the relationship. You just have to learn to move on, get rid of things that he gave you or pictures in your home. DOnt play You and his song, You do deserve better.
Remember that he did cheat on you, and if he loved you
then he wouldnt have done that right?

Have a little ceremony to say buh-bye. Kind of like they did on friends, but perhaps w/o the fire department. Allow yourself a little time to grieve and then do something ceremonious to say goodbye, maybe a baloon, or a toilet flush, just something to allow you to put it behind you!

And sorry to hear the news. What a slimeball! I'd kick his a**. You were much more restrained and definitely deserve better!

Well, dont just assume that he is doing anything with his ex-gf. Just go and talk to him first. Well, maybe just spy on him a lil, but talking and asking him is better.

A way to get over him is to keep yourself busy with things, or just go out alot and have fun, meet new people. And most of all, stop thinking about him.

if you guys haven't talked ever since you caught him with his ex, then maybe you should be the one to tell him what an *** he was. were they...DOING something together? don't listen to his excuses. let him know he hurt you and you're done with him--but i can't decide your feelings for you, so you just have to figure this one out. I know your heart wants him but your mind is telling you better.
there's no happy medium....

I would definetely move on. Has he tried to contact you since you saw him?

You deserve so much better and you don't want a man like that in your kids' lives.
