Just to take it in. When I hug and kiss my GF, I just wana close my eyes and think about how good it feels to have her..and how good the kiss/hug feels too :)

It feels much better when you close your eyes and kiss. I wish I had somebody to kiss and hug. Im all sad now..

we close our eyes when we kiss and hug people because we want to feel the other person, from kissing it leads to another thing.

i think some people more intense with the other person by closing their eyes and as you can see by the other answers some people think of other people whilst doing it but then i think thats a low percentage. Actually some people find it more comfortable with their eyes open.
But if you think about it, isnt it more romantic when your eyes are closed? also its strange kissing someone and looking at them at the same time. but thats only my opinion

Yeah, I've noticed people do that, but I've noticed that I don't. Sometimes I do while kissing. I think though that especially while kissing, if you are really into kissing that person, wouldn't looking at them while you're doing it make it more satisfying? Works for me. I also like to watch while I'm kissing the 'other' lips too. ;)

I really don't know but its a wit of wisedom from Nepal that you shouldn't trust in anyone the doesn't close their eyes when they kiss you, and so watch out. But in reality I think its just a reaction like dropping a hot potatoe if they hand you one.

Kissing someone...it is respectful to close the eyes because it looks like you are enjoying the experience!

It's a way of confirming to ourselves nad other that we are attempting to display complete trust for the person we are kissing or hugging. It allows us to engage more in the moment because we are not distracted by visual cues.

Hard to tell - I've noticed that women always close their eyes when they go down on a guy too.
