After talking on the net this guy and I exchanged phone numbers. Everything is okay, but now i want to meet him. I am scared because I have never done this before. I feel comfortable about meeting him because I have been talking to him for a while now. He has asked me out twice, and both times I have chickened out. Any advice will be helpful.

Well if you are keen on meeting this guy, arrange to meet in the mall or in a place where there will be lots of people. For another safety pre-caution why don't you take a buddy of yours along with you and ask him to do the same. Also make sure that an adult or someone else that won't go with knows where you are and that if you should be in trouble to call them. Therefore have a cell-phone on you that is charged. But I am sure that nothing would go wrong as your gut instict would have told you that by now. Best of luck amigo.

Well if ur scared cause u dont know him in person tell him it will be a double or group date so u can have friends there with u have it like that for the first few dates if everything goes well then maybe u wont be so scared to do it but you should try it just remember never go alone!!!!!!!!when u first meet ok ~edward~

the first time you meet him don't make it for long. Meet in a store then if ya click walking around and hanging out decided there. If you dig him and he makes you all happy inside then what you got to lose. I mean don't worry to much b/c you never know you might meet him and yall are great or he might be washed up. I say go for it. Like meet him at the mall and after 30 minutes be like later if you like him or not just to look calm cool and selective.

You must be searching for something new in your life, so go for it. Agree to meet him, but do it in a safe way. Don't commit to dinner and a movie. Agree to meet him for coffee in an environment where you can excuse yourself and leave if you are not comfortable with the situation. DON'T meet for drinks. Bad Idea for a first date. Good luck, and go for it.

As with the others advice, meet in a public place, don't let him know where you live. I did the internet dating for a while, I never gave them my last name or let them know specifically where I worked either, until I felt really sure I knew enough about them. And even then, I made sure someone knew when, where I was going, who I was going with.

Definitely meet in a public place, maybe have a friend go there that you can signal(fiddling with earrings) to call you(fake emergency) if you get a wierd feeling about him after meeting. I have done that for a friend before.....but it wasn't neccessary, she gave me the it's OK signal(crossing her legs and circling her foot), and the other friend I was with, got to check a new place out

I wouldn't advise meeting anyone that you meet on the Internet but anywho..... bring a friend with you. Meet at a public place. Don't have him pick you up or you pick him up. Go out to eat somewhere. Maybe when you are done with your date you can have someone come and pick you up. BE CAREFUL!

meet at a resturant and only go in seperate cars til you get to know each other and stay in crowed situations. this will always give you away out. Have a friend meet you and work out a way for them to bail you out if need be or a signal that everything will be fine. just cover all your bases. then relax and see what happens.

Be Careful!! If you decide to meet him, make sure it's a public place. Don't let him pick you up from your house. Have your cell phone on you in case you need to make an emergency phone call.
