Honor they mother and father, it's God's law.
I think you have to be bad, it would be a sin other wise.

I believe that my destiny is to do God's work, and while I don't know what all of that work is, I continue to pray for guidance and thank Him for every day I have in this life, because every day is a new gift :) If I had a father like Darth Vadar, I'm pretty sure I'd still be who I am, and I'd be sure to forgive him and love him anyway.

No you could still be a good guy--even Anakin Skywalker (future Darth Vader) was a good little boy, he just got swindled by the man later on.

I would have lost my respect for Darth Vader, even if I were to have him as my father, I wouldn't acknowledge him to be. I'll carry on with my life instead of having this feeling of having Darth Vader as my father.

Perhaps. That is not a given that they will be a good guy with one looked at as evil for parent. The person could go either way, emulate the bad parent or decide they don't want to be that and become completely opposite.

"If Darth Vadar was your father,,,,"
"What is your destiny."
I believe that my hand would be cut off in a fight with him and I'd imagine myself in his helmet while I was in a cave that Yoda told me about while in a swamp. And in our last being together, love would win.

so,....
"would you still be a good guy?"
yeah.

Nope. I started out in life eager to please, starting with my parents. So, if Darth Vader were my father (or some other mega villan of some kind) I would try to please him by being evil too. Just as I went through all the motions of christianity for my church parents.

Yes because who we become is really up to us. All experiences can have negative or positive outcomes. We decide who we are. Nature versus Nurture and I personally believe that 'nuture' is the more important of the two.
