How do I increase my port in Azureus? The suggested range is 49152 - 65534. but mine is 2----something!! How do i increase my port. And what do these number (port) mean?

You need to change the port from its default as most ISP'S block the default port as they know people are using it for peer-to-peer.
All you need to do is make an exception in your Firewall.

If your using Windows Firewall make an exception for TCP and UDP.

For example you decide to make a port 49999. Goto the firewall program and make the UDP and TCP exceptions that allow your computer to listen to the port.

Now goto Azureus and goto Tools - Options - Connection then change the port to 49999. Then restart Azureus (I would restart the machine to be on the safe side),

It should all work now.
